Summary:
The English dub opening for Pokémon Black & White used segments from the Japanese opening Best Wishes. Unlike the Japanese version of the opening, it did not feature the revealing of Pokémon as Ash traveled through the Unova region.All the backgrounds throughout the opening are black and white with a few shades of gray. Pikachu starts near a beach and it walks around looking and waving at the Pokémon in the area. Pikachu ends up in a grass field filled with more Pokémon and Pikachu quickly runs past the Pokémon until it reaches a checkerboard surface which promptly begins to break up into separate pieces. Pikachu jumps off the checkerboard globe and into a forest. Pikachu is then seen flying in the air with Zekrom and then Reshiram.
Pikachu is then seen running through a city, going through building and then jumping on top of them until it makes one last large leap. Pikachu begins falling down with the checkerboard pieces and all the Pokémon it previously saw as the checkerboard pieces begin to form a globe surface again and all the Pokémon line up together for a group shot.
