Summary:
The Greatest・Everyday! starts off with the legendary Pokémon Ho-Oh flying in the air as it soars by Satoshi and Pikachu who are running on the ground while looking up at Ho-Oh as it passes them into the distance. The Pocket Monsters Diamond&Pearl logo flips in as bubbles and stars sparkle behind the logo in the background.
After the logo disappears, the next scene features Satoshi in an empty stadium as he throws his Poké ball to release his newly evolved Goukazaru as it jumps into the air as it avoids a Flamethrower from Entei. Satoshi's Buoysel appears as the Flamethrower clears and it battles against a Darkrai. Pikachu then appears jumping up into the air as it battles a Lucario.
Hikari gets a close up as her hair flips around as the scene transitions to a Contest arena as Hikari's Pochama, Pachirisu, Hinoarashi, Manmoo, Togekiss and Mimirol are released from their Poké balls. Hikari's rivals are shown with the Grand Festival cup in the background.
Takeshi turns around and looks into the sky as Latios, Latias, Fire, Freezer and Thunder soar by him. Satoshi and all his Pokémon as well as Hikari and all her Pokémon also look up into the sky at the legendary flying Pokémon fly by them as well.
Rocket Gang are sitting on their Koiking submarine in the middle of the sea as they fish for lunch until Kyorge surfaces underneath them. Lugia and Groundon also appear and the three all launch attacks at each other causing a huge explosion where the three attacks meet.
Rocket Gang appear again, but this time they are floating in space without a spacesuit or ship as Mew, Mewtwo, Rayquaza and Deoxys float by them.
The opening shifts to Satoshi, Hikari, Takeshi, Pikachu and Pochama resting in a field of Gracidea flowers. Yuxie, Emrit, Agnome, Jirachi and Celebii fly around the group as Shaymin touches a Gracidea flower and transforms into Sky Forme Shaymin. Manaphy is also seen swimming in a little pond beside them.
Dialga, Palkia, Giratina and Arceus appear up in the clouds until it transitions to Satoshi's team of Pokémon being displayed in turn. The final scene starts with Shinji looking at Satoshi in an empty Pokémon stadium as it pans out to show Satoshi's rivals on one side of the battlefield and Satoshi and his Pokémon on the other side.
