The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero Part 1: The Teal Mask
The first adventure in The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero, the new DLC for the blockbuster Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet video games, will launch on September 13, 2023. In Part 1: The Teal Mask, players take a school trip to the land of Kitakami, where they join an outdoors study program held jointly between their academy and another school. Players can look forward to meeting Pokémon not found in the Paldea region while unearthing the mysteries behind an old Kitakami folktale. A new trailer for The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero can be seen here. More details about Part 2: The Indigo Disk will be revealed at a later date.
Get Mew & Mewtwo! In-Game Event
A special in-game event, Get Mew & Mewtwo!, will take place in Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet, marking the debut of the Mythical Pokémon Mew and the Legendary Pokémon Mewtwo in the Paldea region. Beginning today through September 18, 2023, at 7:59 a.m. PDT, players can add Mew to their team by entering the password GETY0URMEW in the Mystery Gift menu. In addition, a special Tera Raid Battle event will take place between August 31, 2023, at 5:00 p.m. PDT and September 17, 2023, at 4:59 p.m. PDT. In this event, players can challenge and catch a Mewtwo with the Mightiest Mark.
Train up your very own Mew, then challenge Mewtwo with the Mightiest Mark in a special Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet Tera Raid Battle event!
The Legendary Pokémon Ogerpon Has Been Discovered in Its Terastallized State!
Ogerpon has recently been sighted in its Terastallized state in The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero Part 1: The Teal Mask, but its appearance seems to differ from that of most other Tera Pokémon. Exactly what sort of power this Legendary Pokémon possesses is still unknown.
Search for Pokémon to Photograph in the Timeless Woods!
During your adventure in The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero Part 1: The Teal Mask, you will encounter Perrin, a young woman who is visiting Kitakami in hopes of encountering and photographing a certain Pokémon.
Your search for this mysterious Pokémon will take you into the Timeless Woods, a place where the people of Kitakami rarely tread. With Perrin by your side, you’ll be able take snapshots of Pokémon in the area as you seek out the mysterious Pokémon together!
Perrin
Perrin is a camera-loving traveler with an easygoing personality. It seems she’s in search of a certain Pokémon and wants to take a photo of it.
Two Forms of the Legendary Pokémon Terapagos!
It’s become clear that this recently discovered mystery Pokémon is, in fact, the Legendary Pokémon Terapagos in its Normal Form! It turns out that the form Terapagos was first discovered in is its Terastal Form. Apparently Terapagos is capable of taking on multiple distinct appearances.

Newly Discovered Paradox Pokémon in Paldea: Raging Bolt and Iron Crown!
Newly discovered Paradox Pokémon will be appearing in the Paldea region. It seems you’ll be able to encounter Raging Bolt in The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero for Pokémon Scarlet and Iron Crown in The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero for Pokémon Violet.

Enter the Blueberry League and Take on Blueberry Academy’s Elite Four!
In The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero Part 2: The Indigo Disk, Blueberry Academy has its own Pokémon battling league called the Blueberry League—aka the BB League—where students battle each other and climb the ranks based on their skills. The school’s top four Trainers are known as the BB League Elite Four, and they’re looked up to by the entire student body.
You’ll receive an invitation to join the Blueberry League from Drayton, a member of the BB League Elite Four. You'll be able to take on the BB League Elite Four in the Terarium, where each biome is occupied by a different member of the BB League Elite Four.
Elite Trials: Preludes to BB League Elite Four Battles
To battle one of the BB League Elite Four, you must first pass their Elite Trial. Each trial is different. Aim to defeat the BB League Elite Four and become the best Trainer in Blueberry Academy!
Flying
In order to tackle the Elite Trial set by Amarys, your Legendary Pokémon—Koraidon or Miraidon—can take a supplement that will grant it the power to fly! It seems this power is only temporary, but perhaps someday this hidden potential will be fully unleashed...
Lacey - Lacey is earnest and caring. She will show you around Blueberry Academy once you arrive. Crispin - Crispin enjoys cooking and red-hot battles! After club activities are finished, he often puts his cooking skills to work so that he and the other three members of the Elite Four can all enjoy a meal together. Amarys - Amarys is taciturn and keeps her cool in any situation—but underneath that ironclad exterior, she seems to really care about her friends. Drayton - Drayton may act lackadaisical, but apparently he’s a force to be reckoned with in battle. He doesn’t seem to go to class often, and rumor has it he’s had to repeat a year thrice already.
Train Your Pokémon and Battle as a Member of the League Club!
In Blueberry Academy’s League Club in The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero Part 2: The Indigo Disk, Trainers participating in the BB League—including the Elite Four—get together and train through Pokémon battles. You can also visit the clubroom to meet up with people you’ve encountered at Blueberry Academy and deepen your bonds with them.
The Clubroom Computer
You can use the computer in the clubroom to lend a hand to other clubs that need funding for their activities. If you donate Blueberry Points (BP), a currency used within the academy, you may receive thank-you gifts from clubs you’ve donated to. For example, if you donate BP to the Blueberry Academy art club, you’ll be able to redecorate the League Club room.
Special Guests
During your time at Blueberry Academy, you’ll be able to invite familiar faces from the Paldea region for a visit. When you invite a Trainer over, you can talk to them and take photos together. If you defeat one of these Trainers in battle, you’ll also be able to trade Pokémon with them—and you might just see a side of them you hadn’t seen before.
Pokémon: Paldean Winds
The Pokémon Company International announced a new animated web series titled Pokémon: Paldean Winds, which brings the Paldea region to life in an all-new way. This limited original series follows three academy students—Ohara, Aliquis, and Hohma—on their journey of growth and learning while attending school. Fans can look forward to watching Pokémon: Paldean Winds on the official Pokémon YouTube channel starting September 6, 2023.

Pokémon Sleep
Hopefully you’ve been resting your very best with Pokémon Sleep. You’ll be able to meet even more sleepy Pokémon during the upcoming Good Sleep Day in-game event, which will occur on the night of the full moon. On Good Sleep Days, Drowsy Power will be powered up, which should help you encounter Pokémon with rare sleep styles.
Pokémon UNITE
A new type of battle—Panic Parade—has come to Pokémon UNITE. In Panic Parade, you and your teammates protect Tinkaton from wild Pokémon. Plus, the mighty Legendary Pokémon Mewtwo is joining the fray in Pokémon UNITE. With Unite License X: Mewtwo, you can Mega Evolve Mewtwo into Mega Mewtwo X. And starting August 17, Unite License Y: Mewtwo will also be available, which allows players to Mega Evolve Mewtwo into Mega Mewtwo Y, who battles differently. There will also be a variety of special events tying into the game’s 2nd Anniversary, as well as the 2023 Pokémon World Championships!
Pokémon Café ReMix
No, you’re not serving up sushi in Pokémon Café ReMix—it’s just the appearance of the Mimicry Pokémon, Tatsugiri, at the café. Other special Pokémon are arriving on the scene as well, including a “summer fun” Jigglypuff and a five-star chef “tropical” Vaporeon. Plus, Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly have returned and are being featured in deliveries. An express delivery bonus is now available to celebrate all this good news.
New updates and experiences were also revealed for popular mobile games across the franchise, including Pokémon GO, Pokémon Sleep, Pokémon UNITE, Pokémon Masters EX, and Pokémon Café ReMix. In addition, The Pokémon Company International also announced that today, the bestselling Pokémon Trading Card Game video game will be coming to Game Boy – Nintendo Switch Online, as well as Pokémon Stadium 2 to Nintendo 64 – Nintendo Switch Online.
