Perrin is a character first introduced in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet's 'The Teal Mask' DLC. She was a renowned childhood photographer who won many awards and accolades, but as she got older, the fame slowly dried up, and she found herself unable to take good photos or find enjoyment of photography. Hailing from the Sinnoh region, she traveled to the region of Kitakami to take a photo of "the Bloodmoon Beast", a special form of Ursaluna said to be residing in The Timeless Woods. With the goal to take a photo and get her love of photography back, she enlists the help of the player,
Florian or
Juliana, after they capture 150 Pokémon.
Perrin is a descendant of
Adaman.
Anime:
Perrin was walking with her Hisuian Growlithe while in Mossui Town in Kitakami when
Dot noticed her Growlithe due to it being the Hisuian form. Dot figured that because
Perrin knew stuff about rare Pokémon that lived in the Hisui region that she might know something about Kleavor.
She wasn't willing to give up the information right away and she proposed to take a picture of
Dot but she didn't trust her initially and then Perrin proposed a friendly battle. After
Perrin's Leafeon was defeated by
Dot's Quaxwell, she showed
Dot a picture of
Lucius' Kleavor that she had taken and Dot took her back to the Brave Asagi to meet the rest of the Rising Volt Tackers.
After meeting and taking clearer pictures of
Lucius' Kleavor on Mt. Tengu, she parted ways with the Rising Volt Tacklers to take pictures of other Pokémon but not before agreeing to
Dot's request that she shouldn't publish any photos of
Lucius' Kleavor or
Terapagos. She hoped that they would look different and had grown the next time she met up with them.
