On September 22nd, 2023, the official Japanese AniPoke Twitter account and the official Japanese Pokémon Twitter account reminded that this episode was available to watch on the official Japanese YouTube channel. The video was region locked to Japan only. It was available from September 22nd, 2023 to October 13th, 2023. This episode was specifically labeled as a missed-program webcast (見逃し配信).

The episode was also available on the TV Tokyo YouTube channel and the Official Corocoro Channel and were labeled as limited-time delivery (期間限定配信). The TV Tokyo version included the series trailer at the end of the episode where as the Corocoro version had beginning and ending bumpers promoting Corocoro.

Broadcasting every week from 6:55 pm! The anime "Pocket Monsters" will start airing soon! In this article, we'll introduce you to the Pokémon and characters that will appear in today's episode, as well as comments from the voice actors and director, and other information you won't find anywhere else!

The Rising Volt Tackler's have come to the Galar Mine in pursuit of the Black Rayquaza. However, what awaited Liko and her friends deep in the mine was a Galar Fire with an Ancient Monster Ball! Even Friede's Lizardon and Captain Pikachu are no match for the mighty Galar Fire, and Liko and her friends are forced to run for their lives! They managed to get back to a Pokémon Center.

▲ They are relieved that the Pokémon have been treated. But what should they do against that Galar Fire?

Liko and her friends want to get closer to Galar Fire somehow. However, according to Dot's research, there is nothing they can do about the angry Galar Fire. Even if they went head-on, there'd be no chance of winning......!? That's when Liko remembered Gym Leader Kabu's words. "Winning battles is not the only path to becoming a trainer." In other words, it is not about defeating it......! What is the strategy that Liko came up with based on Kabu's counsel!?

しかし鉱山の奥でリコたちを待っていたのは、いにしえのモンスターボールを持つガラルファイヤーだった!!　フリードのリザードンやキャプテンピカチュウでも敵わない強さのガラルファイヤーを前に、リコたちは逃げるので精いっぱい！　なんとかポケモンセンターへと引き返してくるのだった。

どうにかしてガラルファイヤーに近づきたいリコたち。しかしドットの調査によると怒ったガラルファイヤーは手がつけられなくてどうしようもないという。真正面からぶつかっても勝ち目はない……!?　そこでリコはジムリーダー・カブの言葉を思い出す。「バトルに勝つだけがトレーナーの道とは限らない」。つまり倒すのではなく……!?　カブの言葉をヒントにリコが導き出した作戦とは!?

Note

In the original airing on TV Tokyo on September 22nd, 2023, the closed captions indicated that the name of the Pokémon was Kodaikame (コダイカメ). Datamining of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet Version 2.0.1 also showed that text for "kodaikame" was included in the games which seems to corroborate that Kodaikame was the initial or codename for Terapagos.

In today's broadcast of the anime Pocket Monsters, the name of the Pokémon Terrapagos was written in an unofficial way in the closed captions. The official name is Terapagos.
