Summary:

Pokémon Symphonic Medley was the third opening song of the Pocket Monsters Advanced Generation. It features a medley of previous theme songs from the series. The opening debuted in Advanced Generation episode number 105: Falling in Love With Kucheat! Hasubrero's Flower Arrangement!! (恋するクチート! ハスブレロの花道!!).

The music for this opening is a combination of six previous theme songs from the anime series and portions of the songs can be heard in the opening in the following order: Advance Adventure (アドバンス・アドベンチャー), Challenger!! (チャレンジャー!!), Ready Go!, Polka・O・Dolka (ポルカ・オ・ドルカ), Because the Sky is There (そこに空があるから), and finally Aim to Be a Pokémon Master (めざせポケモンマスター).

The opening begins with Satoshi and Pikachu standing on a cliff looking down at a forest with a river going through it. The Pocket Monsters Advanced Generation logo separated in multiple parts, all different colors move into the center from all sides and combines to create the standard logo.

The next scene shows Satoshi and his current lineup of Pokémon battling Regirock, Registeel and Regice in a stadium. All of Satoshi's Pokémon charge Regi evolutions as the attacks fly past Satoshi and explode behind him. Haruka releases her Wakasyamo from her Poké ball and it uses a Fire Spin as her other Pokémon twirl through the flames. A valley full of hundreds of Pokémon is shown as Celebii fly's by and it transitions to the ocean. Lugia fly's by as it transitions again to more Pokémon flying in the air and running on the hills.

A mysterious Pokémon is seen in an alley way that looks like Mewtwo covered in a cloak as it jumps into the air and then quickly changes to Rocket Gang digging a tunnel underground until Aron, Lairon, and Aggron start chasing them.

The next scene features Takeshi holding a bouquet of flowers as he jumps around a bunch of silhouettes of girls until his flowers are eaten by Haruka's Gonbe. Satoshi is sitting on a swing as its pouring rain. It appears that he is sad and disappointed but his friends come to cheer him up as Pikachu jumps into his arms.

Mew and Jirachi fly through a bunch of ruins in the sea as Groundon and Kyorge battle and Entei, Suicune and Raikou jump from ruin to ruin as they fall apart behind them. Articuno, Moltres, and Zapdos soar by as Satoshi and Pikachu watch them fly high into the sky as Deoxys joins them as they approach space. Ho-Oh also fly's by and the main characters are seen posing together in the final screen.
