Summary:

The opening starts of with Satoshi and Haruka battling in a large Pokémon stadium. Satoshi's Pikachu and Haruka's Wakasyamo charge towards a Hariyama and a Gardevoir. Pikachu jumps uses Thunderbolt on the Hariyama while the Gardevoir managed to grab hold of Wakasyamo with Psychic till it countered with its Flamethrower.

It transitions to Satoshi, Haruka, Masato and Takeshi running on a dirt road with all their Pokémon as Osubame fly's over and up close to the camera. The next scene shows Satoshi, Pikachu, Haruka, Masato and Takeshi sitting on a hill as the camera rotates around them as Pikachu smiles and stretches. Satoshi is then seen running as Lizardon, Fushigibana, Kamex are seen as he runs by.

Haruka and her rival Shuu are in the next scene with a 45 degree split line. Haruka is holding a Poké ball and Shuu is holding a red rose. Masato shows up with his Pokénav as he is referring to a map on it.

Satoshi and Pikachu are seen in space in the next scene on a large rock as Rayquaza floats by them. Hanako, Professor Okido, and Kenji make appearances followed by Joy and Junsa as Takeshi with heart-filled eyes bugs them until Masato shows up and pulls his ears.

Rocket Gang blast off into the air quickly and end with their regular sparkle in the air as the opening transitions to Satoshi and Pikachu under a waterfall attempting to stay standing as the water flows down on them. The Pocket Monsters Advanced Generation logo materializes as it transitions to the final scene featuring Satoshi, Pikachu, Haruka, Masato and Takeshi standing to the right with their bodies casting long shadows.
