Yuha lives in Kumli Town with his father and great-great grandma, the Pericarp Town Matriarch. His son Yuha came racing to him yelling that he saw the Black Rayquaza flying and Yuha's Noibat went missing as it got scared. He went running to his father saying that disaster was coming. His father calmed down him down telling not to be scared and to go look around town for his Pokémon.

He went into a cave and found his Noibat but was chased by a swarm of Vibrava. With the help from Liko, Roy and Dot, the fought off the Vibrava and escaped the cave.

He apologized to them for his earlier reaction about them bringing disaster to the town because they bought the Black Rayquaza with them. He decided to train more with his Noibat so that he could be like the Rising Volt Tacklers.
