Preview scenes from Pocket Monsters Best Wishes Season 2 (ポケットモンスター ベストウイッシュ シーズン2) were shown to introduce the new series to viewers. The scenes highlights included the return of Hikari and Shirona as well as an appearance by Caitlin.

Details about the movie event distribution of Meloetta was also briefly discussed.

A preview for the upcoming Ginga-dan arc was shown 14 days before the arc aired. The clip was called "Perfect Guide to the Galaxy Gang arc! (ギンガ団編　最終章　パーフェクトガイド).

The announced told the viewers the items that the Galaxy Gang has obtained so far in order to realize their plans. Firstly, the Spear Key (鑓の鍵). This is a key used to open the gate to　the Spear Pillar　(鑓の柱), the place where the Pokémon referred to as gods are summoned. Seize the meteorites. Secondly, the meteorites of Tobari City　（トバリ隕石）. The experiment with the Tobari meteorites was successful. It means Ginga-dan has reached the last stage of the Red Chain project. What is this Red Chain? Finally, the legendary spheres: the Adamant Orb (金剛玉) and the Lustrous Orb (白玉). The true solution is, namely, the advent of the gods, caused by the Lake trio and the two spheres! Their final target is the Lake trio! This is the last chapter of the Galaxy Gang arc!

A preview for the upcoming Ginga-dan arc was shown 7 days before the arc aired. The clip was called "Perfect Guide to the Galaxy Gang arc! (ギンガ団編　最終章　パーフェクトガイド).

The announced said what the encounters between the Lake Pokémon and Satoshi and his friends were so far: Hikari saw Emrit's spirit and Lake Shinji, Satoshi saw Agnome's spirit at Lake Risshi and Takeshi saw Yuxie's spirit at Lake Eichi.

With the help of Pokémon Hunter J and the others, Galaxy Gang commences with the capture of Agnome! What is the secret between the Lake trio and Satoshi and his friends? The last chapter of the Galaxy Gang arc!

A rowdy Fukamaru is discovered and a showdown between two guys who want to get it! Hikari's Contest for the fifth Ribbon and Manmoo, who has its first performance, will contribute a lot!

A preview of the Ginga-dan episodes was also teased about briefly.

The 'Urgent announcement' that showed clips from the upcoming Ginga-dan arc in November of 2009 was shown. This was about a 4 minute clip in length. Furthermore, the announcer told viewers that the perfect guide on the Galaxy Gang arc would also be broadcast in the upcoming episodes.

The ambition of the Galaxy Gang is striving to create a new world. The numerous, inexplicable actions until now have lead up to the climax of the Ginga-dan story which links into the Sinnoh time-space mythology. The Galaxy Gang works together with Pokémon Hunter J to drop the Galaxy bomb.

The gate to the Spear Pillar will finally be opened and the Sinnoh Time-Space mythology is slowly turning into reality. The Pokémon referred to as gods, Dialga and Palkia appear in this world! At this rate, the Sinnoh region will perish! Will Satoshi and his friends be able to save the Sinnoh region from the danger of perishing?

Also opposing them is Professor Karashina's granddaughter, Champion Master Shirona, who conducts research on the Sinnoh time-space mythology. Okido announced that on June 23, Pocket Monsters Black 2 and White 2 would be released and that their new elements would be featured early in the anime!

First off, Pokéwood. In Pokéwood, players use various scenarios as bases to make their own original movie! Satoshi and his friends take the Pokéwood challenge too!

Movie Showdown! The Isshu Defense Force Goes Into Action!! aired on June 7th, 2012. A new Gym Leader named Homika appeared. She is a Poison type user that has a Dogas! Okido then announced that the Gym battle against Homika, on which the participation in the Isshu League depends on, would air all at once on June 14th, 2012 in a 1-hour special.

A special preview for the 1-hour Pocket Monsters Diamond and Pearl Special that aired on March 8th, 2007 was shown. The 1-hour special included the anime episode Pachirisu VS Eipam! Contest Battle!! (パチリスVSエイパム！コンテストバトル!!) and The 10th Anniversary for the TV Anime Broadcast is Imminent! Anime & Gratitude Quiz Festival (ＴＶアニメ放送１０周年は目前！アニメ＆大感謝クイズ祭り).

Rocket Gang also made an appearance and Looker was reintroduced to the audience as his previous appearance was supposed to be in BW23 and 24.

A quick preview for the It's New Year's! Get the First Laugh of the Year with Pokémon!! (お正月だよ！ ポケモンで初笑いスペシャル！！) was shown at the end of the episode.

A short preview at the end of the episode hosted by Professor Okido showed information about upcoming episodes of Pocket Monsters Best Wishes Season 2 Episode N (ポケットモンスターベストウイッシュ シーズン２ エピソードＮ). The news stated that more info on N and the Plasma Gang's dealings would be forthcoming in those episodes.

Okido also introduced the new TV anime series Pocket Monsters Best Wishes Season 2 Decolora Adventure! (ポケットモンスター ベストウイッシュ シーズン２ デコロラアドベンチャー！). Satoshi and his friends set off for the Decolora Archipelago!

Okido showed the viewers a new trailer for the upcoming movie, the reminded them of next week's 2 hour special, which would consist of the TV special Mewtwo: The Prologue to Its Awakening, along with the first TV broadcast of last year's Keldeo movie. He also reminded everyone that the special preorder ticket for the movie, with which you can get the special event Mewtwo is still on sale.

Finally, he showed clips from a number of upcoming episodes of Decolora Adventure, including episode 12, 15 and 16, showing how Satoshi and his friends would soon be joined by the character Pansy from the X/Y games, who would show off the gen 6 Pokémon Erikiteru, Gogoat and Onvern.

A preview of the final episodes of Pocket Monsters DA and the new XY series was shown.

A preview for the upcoming series "Pocket Monsters XY" was aired after this episode, showcasing the three new main characters Citron, Eureka and Serena, as well as the three Starter Pokémon from the Kalos region, Harimaron, Fokko and Keromatsu.
