Okido showed the first trailer to the upcoming Pokémon the movie XY&Z 2016, then presented the newly discovered mythical Pokémon Volcanion, a Fire/Water type Pokémon with arms that can unleash a move with the power to gouge out the earth and change the shape of the land. Okido announced the title of the upcoming movie as being Pokémon the movie XY&Z: Volcanion and the Ingenious Magearna, then presented Volcanion as the first ever Pokémon with the two conflicting types Fire and Water who's capable of using the powerful moves Overheat and Hydro Pump, before revealing the all-new mythical Pokémon Magearna, a Pokémon born by human hand 500 years ago that's still shrouded in mystery. Stay tuned for further information on these Pokémon's role in the movie.

Professor Okido showed the second teaser trailer to the upcoming Volcanion and the Ingenous Mageana and wondered whether Magearna, the Pokémon created by humans, and Volcanion, the Pokemon that hates humans, will be acting as enemies or allies in the movie, then asked what Mageana's unknown power is.

Professor Okido announced that the special pre-order ticket to the upcoming Volcanion and the Ingenous Mageana would go on sale April 16th, and revealed that it would come with a present code that lets you obtain the mythical Pokémon Volcanion in your game.

This Volcanion knows one of the most powerful Fire type moves, Overheat, one of the most powerful Water type moves, Hydro Pump, and Mist, a move that can be used to turn the battle in your favor. It also has a move that only Volcanion, who possesses both the Fire and the Water type, can learn: Steam Eruption, a move that has a chance to burn the opponent after dealing damage.

Professor Okido presented two pieces of news on the upcoming Volcanion and the Ingenous Mageana. The first piece was the third teaser trailer, which he showed, while the second piece was the announcement of the Pokémon Elections 720, an election where the Pokémon voted number one will be given out during this summer's movie. For the next three weeks, the show will be accepting votes through the data broadcast.

Citron presented a short piece of special news on the upcoming Volcanion and the Ingenious Magearna: Volcanion is characterized by the arms on its back. These arms can obviously launch moves, but they also allow it to fly!

Volcanion is a mythical Pokémon said to live in remote mountains. It lives hidden from humans, releasing a mist of steam from the arms on its back.

It is a Fire/Water type, and one of the moves it can use is Steam Eruption, which is said to be so powerful it can blast away mountains.

This fourth installment of "The passionate and exciting points of the Pokémon movie!" focused on Azoth Kingdom, the setting of Volcanion and the Ingenious Magearna. It's a city of super ingenuity that Éliphas, the master of Mystery Science, built up with his knowledge and craft. In order to rule over the kingdom, Jarvis, the minister of this country, uses Prince Racel. His target was Magearna, the greatest invention created by Éliphas.

Jarvis proceeds with his plan by controlling a group of forcefully mega evolved Pokémon. And so, Princess Chymia challenges the Mega Evolution Army together with Satoshi and Volcanion! Watch how this battle will turn out in the theater! Make sure to watch the chivalrous Volcanion in theaters!

The second teaser trailer for Pocket Monsters the Movie: I Choose You! was shown, and we were told the movie would be Satoshi and Pikachu's origin story. Guided by a shining Rainbow Feather, Satoshi and Pikachu begin an adventure centered on the legendary Pokémon Houou.

The first full length trailer for Pocket Monsters the Movie: I Choose You! was shown. We were then told that the special pre-order tickets for the movie go on sale April 15th, and that if you enter the serial code on the pre-order ticket into your Pocket Monsters Sun/Moon game, you'll receive a Pikachu wearing Satoshi's hat. There are six Pikachu in total, select the one you want by choosing the day you receive it.
