Pokémon GO has announced that an event will take place from March 30th, 2025 to April 8th, 2025 to celebrate the Yeouido Cherry Blossom Festival 2025 in South Korea!

Pokémon GO Spring Blossom Festival 2025 will be held in Yeouido

On March 30th, 2025, a special Pokémon GO event will be held to celebrate the Yeouido Cherry Blossom Festival 2025! In addition to special Pokémon that match the theme of the event, we also have Timed Research and Field Research to participate in during the event.

In addition, you can enjoy a special experience at the Pokémon GO booth, which will be open from April 4th, 2025 to April 8th, 2025, and it will only be available at the Yeouido Cherry Blossom Festival 2025 site! Create unforgettable spring memories with Pokémon GO in the beautiful scenery of the cherry blossoms.

2025 Spring Flower Festival Event

From 11:00 on March 30th, 2025 to 20:00 on April 8th, 2025 Korean Time

Throughout Yeouido during the event, the following Pokémon will appear more frequently in the wild.

Cherrim (Sunshine Form)
Deerling (Spring Form)
Flabébé (White Flower)

Swirlix

: If you’re lucky, you may encounter a Shiny one!

Timed Research

From 11:00am on March 30th, 2025, you can receive Timed Research in the area of the Yunjung-ro Cherry Blossom Road. When you complete the Timed Research, you can receive rewards such as Stardust and Lure Modules. You can also meet the following Pokémon as you progress through research assignments.

The Timed Research must be completed by 23:59pm on April 13th, 2025, and rewards must be received.

Field Research

You can get Field Research throughout Yeouido during the event. When you complete Field Research, you will receive Stardust, Poké Balls, etc. as rewards. You can also encoutner the following Pokémon as you progress through the Field Research.

Collection Challenge

From 11:00 on March 30th, 2025, 2019, from 23:59pm on April 8th, 2025, you can enjoy a Collection Challenge that matches the event throughout Yeouido! Complete the Collection Challenge and receive various rewards such as a Star Piece, a Lucky Egg and more!

Event Bonus

During the event, the following event bonuses will occur:

Yeouido

• 2x Transfer Candy
• One additional Special Trade can be made for a maximum of two for the day.
• Lure Modules activated during the event will last for one hours.

Yunjung-ro Cherry Blossom Road

• Cherry blossom-shaped petals will appears on the map.
