We are excited to announce our first Festa Junina celebration in Pokémon GO! The Pokémon GO Arraiá event will be available in Brazil starting this Saturday, June 24th, 2023, and Trainers will be able to take advantage of Timed Research and bonuses until Monday, July 10th, 2023. Grab your Poké Balls, your straw hats and join us in this incredible arraiá!

Timed Research - Old Friends, New Beginnings

To celebrate the Festa Junina, the Timed Research Old Friends, New Beginnings will be available to all Trainers in Brazil from Saturday, June 24th, 2023 at 10:00 am to Monday, July 10th, 2023 at 8:00 pm. Party with confetti on the map and complete the Timed Research Tasks to find Pokémon and receive special bonuses!

Don't forget that Timed Research expires. Tasks associated with the Timed Research must be completed and rewards claimed by Monday, July 10th, 2023 at 8:00 PM local time.

Timed Research

You will receive the Timed Research when you open Pokémon GO between June 24th, 2023 and July 10th, 2023. The sooner the better, as the Timed Research steps can only be completed during this period! Complete event-themed challenges to receive encounters with the following Pokémon:

Bulbasaur
Charmander
Squirtle
Pikachu

: If you’re lucky, you may encounter a Shiny one!

Lure Modules (Only at the Locations and Dates mentioned)

At the listed parks, on June 24 and 25, 2023 and July 1 and 2, 2023, Trainers will have a chance to encounter the following Pokémon using a Lure Module: Unown F

Timed Research Rewards

In addition to Pokémon encounters, you can also receive the following items by completing Temporary Research Tasks!

• 1,000 Stardust
• 1,000 XP
• 20 Pikachu Candy
• 1 incense
• 1 Lure Module

Event Bonus

Trainers at the listed parks will also be able to take advantage of the following bonuses during the listed dates (June 24-25, and July 1-2, 2023):

• Lure Modules activated during the event will last for 3 hours.
• 2x chance that your Buddy Pokémon will help you when catching Pokémon
• Pokémon trades will cost ½ the required Stardust
