Niantic has announced that as part of the brand-new worldwide event celebrating the Festival of Colors, Oricorio will make its Pokémon GO debut.

We’re excited to announce a brand-new worldwide event celebrating the Festival of Colors! We hope Trainers all over the world will enjoy the diverse group of colorful Pokémon appearing during the event.

Festival of Colors 2022 Global Event

Tuesday, March 15, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. local time to Sunday, March 20, 2022, at 8:00 p.m. local time

Global Event Bonuses

Pokémon Debuts

Oricorio, the Dancing Pokémon, makes its Pokémon GO debut! Keep an eye out, Trainers—the Oricorio you encounter will be of different Styles depending on where they were caught in the world.

Baile Style Oricorio: Appearing in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa
Pom-Pom Style Oricorio: Appearing in the Americas
Pa’u Style Oricorio: Appearing in African, Asian, Pacific and Caribbean islands
Sensu Style Oricorio: Appearing in the Asia-Pacific region

Collection Challenges

The event will feature a colorful Collection Challenge!

Complete the Collection Challenge to contribute to your Elite Collector medal, as well as earn 20,000 XP, 3,000 Stardust, and an encounter with Oricorio*!

*Oricorio’s Style will be based on your location at the time you complete the challenge.
