The Pokémon Company International announced the Sun & Moon Unified Minds TCG expansion on June 6th, 2019 and it was released on August 2nd, 2019. High resolution images of the revealed cards from the press release have been added to an Imageboard thread.

Introducing More Pokémon Battle Teammates, Pokémon Trading Card Game: Sun & Moon—Unified Minds Releases August 2

Today, The Pokémon Company International unveiled a new expansion for the Pokémon Trading Card Game, Sun & Moon—Unified Minds, releasing around the world on August 2.

In this expansion, fans can look forward to seeing more Pokémon pairing up and working together in eight new TAG TEAM Pokémon-GX cards, including Mewtwo & Mew-GX, Slowpoke & Psyduck-GX, Rowlet & Alolan Exeggutor-GX, and Garchomp & Giratina-GX, among others. Furthermore, the expansion contains nine additional Pokémon-GX, more than 25 Trainer cards, and two new Special Energy cards.


At launch, cards from Sun & Moon—Unified Minds will also be supported in Pokémon TCG Card Dex, a mobile app that offers an easy way to digitally browse and discover cards from the Pokémon TCG: Sun & Moon Series.

Fans will be able to try out Sun & Moon—Unified Minds before it launches by participating in one of the many Prerelease tournaments taking place on July 20–28.
