ore Pokémon battle teams await in the upcoming new expansion for the Pokémon Trading Card Game, Sun & Moon—Unbroken Bonds, releasing globally on May 3.

Showcasing the power of teamwork, Sun & Moon—Unbroken Bonds features seven brand-new pairings of powered-up Pokémon, including Reshiram & Charizard-GX, Marshadow & Machamp-GX, Gardevoir & Sylveon-GX, Greninja & Zoroark-GX, Muk & Alolan Muk-GX, and the Ultra Beasts Pheromosa & Buzzwole-GX. In addition, Lucario will partner with the recently discovered Melmetal.

London, United Kingdom—March 6, 2019—Today, The Pokémon Company International announced the 22nd season of the incredibly popular animated Pokémon series, Pokémon the Series: Sun & Moon—Ultra Legends, coming soon to select local broadcasters. In this latest installment, the iconic duo of Ash and Pikachu continue their adventures in the tropical Alola region as they meet new characters and discover more Pokémon.

Pokémon the Series: Sun & Moon—Ultra Legends Synopsis:
Ash has completed three of his four grand trials in the Alola region, and more adventures await as he and his classmates acquire new Z-Crystals, make new Pokémon friends, and learn how to Mantine Surf! In their role as Ultra Guardians, the Pokémon School students take on an important mission to protect Wela Volcano. Ash meets a new rival, Hau, whose Dartrix offers Rowlet quite a challenge. Even Rotom Dex gets an adventure of its own when our heroes visit the set of its favorite TV show! And Professor Kukui’s dream of starting a Pokémon League in Alola just might be getting closer to reality…

In the UK, Pokémon the Series: Sun & Moon—Ultra Legends will premiere on CITV in April.

Following the latest blockbuster trailer for “POKÉMON Detective Pikachu,” The Pokémon Company International has unveiled the remaining cards from the special Pokémon Trading Card expansion celebrating the upcoming movie. Pokémon fans can now get their first glimpse at favourites such as Bulbasaur and Charmander, as well as standouts from the trailer including Ludicolo and Mewtwo.

A second card featuring Detective Pikachu has also been revealed. The cards will feature all Pokémon in their CGI movie likeness and will be available at retail from March 29 in Europe in unique movie-themed sets. While the reveal of these cards complete the 18-card expansion, Pokemon.com will reveal special promotional cards celebrating the movie and discuss how to get them in the coming weeks. Between the expansion and promo cards, more than 25 cards will feature Pokémon as seen in the movie.
