The official Japanese Pokémon Card Game website has revealed two Professor Okido cards that will be part of the 25th ANNIVERSARY TCG Collection and they also announced a 25th ANNIVERSARY COLLECTION Special Set.


Professor's Research (博士の研究) s8a 003/028 is a must-have card in every Pokémon Card Game deck today. It is a powerful effect that allows players to draw seven cards from the deck, giving you an instant advantage in the game. It will be available in the S8a 25th Anniversary Collection set and can be used in official tournaments.

In addition, the Impostor Professor Okido (にせオーキドはかせ) card will be included in the Promo Card Pack 25th ANNIVERSARY edition. This card is a reproduction of a card from the Pokémon Card Game Expansion Pack Vol. 1. It has an effect that causes your opponent to switch their cards in their hand. The cards included in the "Promo Card Pack 25th ANNIVERSARY Edition" cannot be used in official tournaments.


Along with the release of the expansion pack 25th ANNIVERSARY COLLECTION comes the Pokémon Card Game Sword & Shield 25th ANNIVERSARY COLLECTION Special Set (ポケモンカードゲーム ソード＆シールド 25th ANNIVERSARY COLLECTION スペシャルセット). This product includes four booster packs of the 25th ANNIVERSARY COLLECTION expansion pack, one booster pack of the Promo Card Pack 25th ANNIVERSARY edition, and one Pokémon Coin. This product will be available at convenience stores nationwide in Japan on October 22nd, 2021 for 1,188 yen (tax included).
