The best-selling Pokémon Trading Card Game, Sword & Shield—Evolving Skies, was available around the world on August 27th, 2021. High resolution images from the press release have been added to an Imageboard thread. Set details are available in our TCG Dex.

New Pokémon Trading Card Game: Sword & Shield Evolving Skies Expansion Brings Together Eevee Evolutions and Showcases Dragon-Type Pokémon

Sword & Shield—Evolving Skies includes Eevee and all of its Evolutions in the same expansion, and each Evolution of Eevee will appear as a Pokémon V and Pokémon VMAX. Some Eevee Evolutions will also have Battle Styles, such as Single Strike Flareon VMAX, Rapid Strike Vaporeon VMAX, Rapid Strike Sylveon VMAX and Single Strike Umbreon VMAX.

In addition, Dragon-type Pokémon including Rayquaza VMAX and Duraludon VMAX will make their first appearance in the Sword & Shield Series of the Pokémon TCG. Dragon-type Pokémon have strong attacks but require multiple types of Energy, which will lead to even more engaging and strategic gameplay.
