The official Pokémon website has announced the Dragon King Cup Online Competition for Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield which will take place from December 10th, 2020 at 4:00 p.m. PST through December 13th, 2020 at 3:59 p.m. PST. Details have been added to our 8th Generation Online Competitions page.

Description
Will you reign in the Dragon King Cup Online Competition? Register and compete to see if you have what it takes! This online tournament allows Trainers to select one powerful Pokémon that is usually not permitted on their Battle Team. This includes many of the awesome Pokémon that Trainers can encounter in The Crown Tundra, the second part of the Pokémon Sword Expansion Pass and Pokémon Shield Expansion Pass.
