DeNA has announced that the Wally and Glacia Spotlight Scout will take place from October 21st, 2020 at 11:00 p.m. until November 4th, 2020 at 10:59 p.m. They also announced some changes to some Sync Pairs' Level Cap Unlock Items which will come into effect on October 29th, 2020 at 11:00 p.m.

Increased chance to scout Wally and Glacia! Wally and Glacia Spotlight Scout under way! Featuring 5★ Wally & Gallade and 5★ Glacia & Glalie! Featured sync pairs have a higher chance of appearing than non-featured 5★ sync pairs. In this sync pair scout, you can use the daily discount for only 100 paid gems per scout up to 3 times per day. You can also receive up to 15 Custom ★ Power-Ups for both 5★ Wally & Gallade and 5★ Glacia & Glalie according to the number of the corresponding sync pairs obtained in this sync pair scout! 5★ Wally & Gallade can now be raised to 6★ EX, and 5★ Glacia & Glalie’s sync grid will be expanded in conjunction with this sync pair scout.

• Sync pairs other than the ones mentioned above may appear as well.
• To unlock the sync grid, you must have completed Main Story Chapter 2: A Friendly New Rival (Normal) in single-player.
• To upgrade to 6★ EX, you must have completed Main Story Chapter 1: The More the Merrier (Normal) in single-player.
• You will not receive the present if you obtain 5★ Wally & Gallade and 5★ Glacia & Glalie outside of the rally period.
• The applicable present will be sent to you upon obtaining 5★ Wally & Gallade or 5★ Glacia & Glalie during the rally period.
• You will not receive any additional presents even if you obtain 5★ Wally & Gallade and 5★ Glacia & Glalie more than the specified number of times during the rally period. Note: Presents will be sent to the Temp Storage section of the Present Box.
• Please note that you cannot have two or more sync pairs that include Trainers with the same name in your team.
• The number of times the daily discount (100 paid gems per scout) can be used is reset each day. Reset Time: 11:00 p.m.

Changes to Some Sync Pairs' Level Cap Unlock Items

As part of the update to Ver. 2.2.0 scheduled for the end of October 2020, some changes will be made to the items needed to unlock level caps for the Sync Pairs that can be obtained via Legendary Events.

Applicable Sync Pairs

• Giovanni & Mewtwo
• Player Character & Solgaleo
• Zinnia & Rayquaza
• Silver & Ho-Oh
• Cyrus & Palkia

Details

You will be able to train the Sync Pairs from Legendary Events with the same types of level cap unlock items used for regular Sync Pairs, such as Great Buff Blend, Ultra Buff Blend, etc. Also, custom items for training those Sync Pairs that you have already obtained can be exchanged for other items in the Exchange Items menu starting from the following date.
