A new news article has been posted!
The producer of Pokémon Master Yu Sasaki posted an open letter about the game on the Pokémon Master's official website. The letter addresses updates to the game that will take place during April and May 2020.
A Message from the Pokémon Masters Team (Vol. 9)
Greetings, Trainers.
We’re the producers of Pokémon Masters, Yu Sasaki and Tetsuya Iguchi, here with a new message for you. This time, we’ll share details about updates from April and May, as well as our plans for sync orbs.
Updates for April and May
Pokémon Egg Feature Debut
Research on Pokémon Eggs on Pasio has been picking up steam lately. After the update, you’ll be able to select one Egg for either Bulbasaur, Charmander, or Squirtle. The player character will form a new sync pair with the Pokémon you choose.
In addition to the three Eggs available at this time, more Eggs for other Pokémon will be coming in future updates. We hope you enjoy this chance to choose your very own partner.
Legendary Event
Ho-Oh will be featured in the next legendary event. This event will mark the debut of the prize box.
With this new feature, you’ll collect prize coins from the event that will allow you to obtain items and the area info needed to proceed further in the event.
Starting with this event, you can use an item called a Reward Boost Ticket. Only one reward boost per battle each day has been available before now, but by using a Reward Boost Ticket you can boost the rewards of the battle you choose whenever you want.
Additionally, we’re offering a special item as an event reward. This item will let you power up a 5★ strike sync pair of your choosing, so be on the lookout for it.
Plans for Sync Orbs
We’ve received feedback about how sync orbs can be challenging to obtain. Based on your input, we’ll be adjusting this feature to make it even more enjoyable for players.
Three adjustments are scheduled for late April. These changes will be automatically added to your game once you download the latest update.
- Remove the Sync orb chance! method of getting sync orbs from both single-player and co-op battles.
- Add co-op sync orbs as drop rewards to supercourses.
- Increase the number of co-op sync orbs obtainable from events and other places.
(These changes will be applied starting with the legendary event featuring Ho-Oh scheduled for late April).
After the update, sync orbs for specific sync pairs will be obtainable in fixed quantities from supercourses or as other rewards.
After taking into consideration the number of unlockable tiles on the sync grid, as well as the amount of time it currently takes to acquire sync orbs, we have decided to make it so that you can more efficiently acquire co-op sync orbs as event rewards.
We’ll soon share info about the new system we will be adding for obtaining sync orbs that are specific to individual sync pairs.
We’re always looking forward to hearing your thoughts as we work toward improving players’ gameplay experience.
What to Expect in the Next Message
Next time, we’ll share details about the Legendary Arena and future updates. The next message from the Pokémon Masters team is scheduled for mid-May 2020.
We’re always working hard to deliver updates and improvements that make the world of Pokémon Masters as fun as possible.
Until next time, thank you for playing Pokémon Masters.
