Koichi Yamadera's final episode of Oha Suta aired on April 1st, 2016. He has been the MC of the show since its premiere on October 1st, 1997. He departs the show and indicated that he believed it was time for the next generation to take over the show. Replace him as the MC's of the show are Hanae Natsuki （花江夏樹） / Hana-chan (はなちゃん) and Yūki Ono （小野友樹） / Ono-chan (おのちゃん).
