When the woke up... Dent, Iris and Pikachu's faces had all changed into Ohbem!! A panicked Satoshi runs outside... and finds this has happened to everyone in the city! What on Earth is going on!?

Summary:
Satoshi and friends spent their last night at Big Island in the Pokemon Center. But now Dent, Iris and Kibago's faces appear to have turned into the 'Brain Pokémon' Ohbem! And Pikachu has an Ohbem face too! Startled, Satoshi runs off for Joy and Tabunne to get help! But their faces have turned into Ohbem too! And as he heads outside, he finds the same has happened to Junsa! And everyone else in town too!

As he carefully sneaks through the alleys attempting to avoid notice, Satoshi suddenly hears someone calling his name from below! It turns out to be Musashi and Kojiro from the Rocket Gang, hiding in a manhole. The two tell him they are currently searching for Nyarth... Just what exactly IS the Ohbem's dreadful plan!?

Rica Matsumoto: Satoshi

The episode begins in a promising way. In a mysterious and alien-ish way.
And... Even though the whole problem here is just a bit simple, the episode doesn't disappoint and is actually very entertaining. Of course it is just a filler again, but... A nice one.

The episode also had some WTF moments and PokéLogic:
1) Do sewer lids move automatically when you want to leave the sewers? Maybe in Pokemon world they have sliding automatic "door" even for sewer maintenance workers. What a sci-fi. Oh wait, this is about aliens. Of course it is a sci-fi.

2) Smashing Nyaasu's head into a computer desk is really an interesting way of conducting experiments on earthlings.

3) A box full of Pokemon masks is conveniently stored in a random place where Satoshi and Rocked Gang hide. And the box conveniently includes at least 5 masks of Ohbem. With 649 Pokemon existing, this is one hell of a lucky coincidence. I am sure this Pokemon planet is usually filled with masks of an alien Pokemon.

4) Rocket Gang's sumbarine needs just one hit by one plain Thunderbolt to explode and send its content flying in convenient directions (Rocket Gang up, alien battery into Satoshi's hands). And you want to conquer the world with this? Go bury yourself into a hole, Rocket Gang...

My rating:
An unusually funny episode with a touch of mystery and a bit of sci-fi (I mean the sliding sewer lids of course. But come think of this, children use creature-containment space-compressing ball-sized capsules here. So, whatever). Satoshi and Rocket Gang being marked as "too stupid to be manipulated" was also priceless.
Somewhere between 9 and 10 for me. I give it 9.
