It shows up on the Japanese Pokémon Global Link site too. By the way, does anyone know the requirements for getting a Global Link account in another language? Can anyone just sign up for it or do you need to have a game in that language/live in that country?

There's a 6 hour-long maintenance scheduled worldwide for the PGL on the 15th of November, so it looks like they're going for a worldwide release on the 16th after all.

Edit: apparently, the link above doesn't mention the 15th of November, but it does say there's going to be maintenance on TuesdayS... and the next Tuesday IS the 15th of November.

The nationality of your account depends on what home country you select when registering.
