To celebrate the Christmas season, the Tohoko Pokémon Center distributed a Happy Christmas Victini to players of the Japanese versions of Pokémon Black 2 and White 2. This special Victini knows four moves that it normally cannot know. Victini was also distributed at the Tohoko Pokémon Center from December 8th, 2012 until January 6th, 2013. The Tohoko Pokémon Center was closed December 31st, 2012 and January 1st, 2013, so this Victini was not distributed on those dates.


Pokémon Happy Christmas 2012 events were also held in Fukushima Prefecture on November 25th, 2012 and in Iwate Prefecture December 2nd, 2012 where the Happy Christmas Victini was also distributed and other events will take place. There was a Pokémon Christmas tree exhibition, a Pokémon Workshop Corner, a Pokémon Kids Carnival (which cost 300yen to participate), a Pokémon Center sales corner and much more.
