To commemorate the launch of the TV Tokyo anime series Pocket Monsters XY (ポケットモンスター ＸＹ), a special live broadcast titled Songs! Talks! Pokémon Battles! A Super Pre-Screening of the Pokémon XY Anime & a Live Broadcast Festival @ Nico Farre (歌に！トークに！ポケモンバトル！ ポケモンアニメＸＹ超試写会＆生ＬＩＶＥ祭り＠ニコファーレ) was made available on NicoNico Monday October 14th, 2013 starting at 18:30JST.
The live broadcast included the special edition of the first episode, time dedicated to talking to the special guests, performances of the new openings and ending themes and Pokémon X and Y battles. For anime fans and game fans it's a must-see broadcast! The special edition anime episode were also broadcasted at various malls in Japan.
