The announcer introduced the show by saying: "Featuring our PokéSma 8! Will they make it and win the ticket to Hawaii? You'll see right here on Pokémon Smash!". The episode started off with Robert attempting to pick up a heavy barbell lying on the ground. Red and Golgo show up and they both also try to pick it up but both are unsucessful. Golgo farts during his attempt. Shoko-tan then shows up and quickly lifts it up with one hand and puts it behind her desk. Robert are all afraid of Shoko-tan as they realize how strong she is!
Professor Red introduced this weeks rerun episode as part of the Pokémon Library. The theme for the episode was: There's always a catch! (うまい話にはウラがある!). This weeks Pokémon Library rerun episode was
Airship Hardship!? (ひこうせんはふこうせん!?) from the
original series.
A full summary of that episode is available in the episode guide. Professor Red said his go-to line 'OK! Pokémon Library!' to start the repeat episode.

Mijumaru's Tweet Corner
Unlike most segments where some news is announced, Mijumaru instead was sad that Mijumaru didn't have that big of a part to play in the promoting of the new 15th movie. Yamamoto decides he needed to do something to cheer up Mijumaru. Robert then went and visited Naofumi Takeda (竹田直史) who works for Toyota Motor Corporation's
Toyopet sales department (トヨタ自動車
トヨペット店営業部) and Masanori Namise (波瀬正則) of
Koyo Auto (光陽自動車). Yamamoto shows them a picture of Mijumaru and asks them if they could do something to help out and begins begging until Akiyama stops him. Takeda agrees to do a car to help out and they start modifying a
Toyota Porte. Robert then 'arrives' back a few days later to see the end results. Yamamoto loved it and got to finish the car by putting the Scallsword on it and then drives the car away. The Mijumaru car can be seen driving around to help promote the 15th movie and Pokémon Smash.
