Yuto's Charcadet lived with another Charcadet near Mesagoza and they had been together since they were little. One day, it found a Rotom Phone belonging to Yuto. He found Charcadet watching a video on it and he battled it to get his phone back. He then asked it if it wanted to join him to be able to battle like it saw on the phone and it accepted.

Charcadet left the other Charcadet in the wild and spent time training and getting stronger. It later touched a Auspicious Armor and evolved into Armarouge. During their time apart, its friend found a Malicious Armor and evolved into a Ceruledge.
