Drasna is one of the members of the Kalos Elite Four, specializing in Dragon Types. She trained with Wikstrom after it was revealed that she would be facing off against Ash Ketchum in a Pokémon World Championships Hyper Class Battle. Entering the match, she was ranked 12th and was in the Hyper Class.

The match against Ash took place at Lumiose City in the Kalos region and it was a 2-on-2 single battle format match. The two briefly met before the match with Wikstrom, who they had both trained with at different times. The match featured a lot of strategy and making sure that their Pokémon were not completely knocked out and could be used again later in the match.

The match came down to Ash's Dracovish and Drasna's Noivern clashing with Dragon Rush and Dragon Pulse and Ash's Dracovish was the one left standing which gave Ash Ketchum the match victory and raised his Pokémon World Championships ranking from 15th to 9th.
