Buck's Baltoy seems to be Buck's main Pokémon and it stays out of its Poké ball most of the time as they travel around.
A Claydon appeared at the pyramid they arrived at looking for treasure and Buck was determined to capture it. Using his Baltoy, he was able to weaken the Claydon and capture it.
