C-Gear (Cギア)

The C-Gear is a watch like device that is given to players after they help out Fennel. It has a variety of communication features that allows the player to setup meetings with their friends. It features InfraRed, Local Wireless and Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection links to allow players to setup battles, trades, sync statistical information, Friend Code trading and more.

C-Gear Wallpapers (Cギアスキン):

Various C-Gear wallpapers have been made available for players to download off the Pokémon Global Link website. Players can choose which wallpaper they wish to use on their C-Gear as well as change the location of the IR, Wi-Fi and Wireless options on that wallpaper to make it easier to see a particular one that has the wallpaper images positioned differently than the players previous wallpaper.

Players can login to the Pokémon Global Link website and they are presented with a customization page that allows them to select which C-Gear skin they would like to use.

	Wallpaper: Munna's Flower Garden Dates Available for Japan: Always Available Worldwide Dates Available for North America and Europe: May 12th, 2011 until October 25th, 2012 The wallpaper is available to Japanese users who sign-up for an account on the Pokémon Global Link website. Players of other regions have to purchase the Pokémon Black Version and Pokémon White Version Volume 2: The Official Unova Pokédex and Guide to get a password on page 176 to unlock this wallpaper. The password for regions outside of Japan was: PGLDR34M
	Wallpaper: Pokémon Smash - Shoko-tan's Choroneko Dates Available for Japan: November 29th, 2010 until January 31st, 2011 During the last segment of Pokémon Smash #5, Shoko-tan introduced the Pokémon Smash C-Gear Background Present Campaign. Each member of the Pokémon Smash crew had drawn a background that they hope will be voted on to become a C-Gear background for Pokémon Black and White. A page was put up at the official Pokémon Smash website to allow people to see which pictures each member drew. Players could vote for their favorite one until midnight on Wednesday, November 10th, 2010.　The results were announced on Pokémon Smash #9. Shoko-tan announced that there was 60,792 votes cast during the voting period. In third place, with 14,945 votes was Yamamoto and his Champion Mijumaru picture. In second place with 15,213 votes was Golgo and his Dageki picture. In first place was Shoko-tan who amassed 21,257 votes. Players needed to insert the password 「ポケモーニング」 to unlock the skin.

Pokémon had a special Informational Game for Girls 「女の子のためのゲーム情報」 and it was voted to be the skin to be distributed because it was cute and sparkly.The Korean 반짝☆치라미 did not require a password and was free for all users. North American and Europe password for the Twinkle☆Minccino C-Gear skin is: PGLWELCOME which was revealed on the official Pokémon website.
	Wallpaper: Tabunne Dates Available for Japan: December 24th, 2010 until January 31st, 2011 Dates Available for North America: August 3rd, 2011 until September 15th, 2011 As part of the Pokémon Center's 'Pokémon dream' campaign, the Tabunne skin was posted on the Global Link website. Players were required to enter the password 「ポケモンセンター」 to download the skin which was revealed on a poster at the Pokémon Center's. The password YAHOOAUDINO was posted on the Yahoo Kids website for North America . Unlike most other events, this promotion will only be available to American and European players if their location is registered as being in North America.
	Wallpaper: Hikari's Pochama Dates Available for Japan: January 27th, 2011 until March 10th, 2011 Dates Available for Korea: August, 3rd 2011 @ 15:00 until August 31st, 2011 @ 15:00 Dates Available for North America and Europe: April, 5th 2012 @ 13:00 until May 23rd, 2012 To celebrate the February 2nd, 2011 Pocket Monsters Diamond and Pearl Anime Special, a C-Gear skin of Hikari's Pochama and Takeshi's Gureggru were posted to help promote the special. The C-Gear was made available in North America and Europe a year later and was not related to the Hikari and Takeshi specials. The password was: PIPLUPCGEAR2012 for North America and Europe.

The Christmas issue of Official Nintendo Magazine in the UK announced the password as: CRONintendoOfficial. The December 2011 issue of the French Official Nintendo Magazine announced the password for France as: CRONNintendoOfficiel.

The North American password was revealed on the official Pokémon website and it was: PORYZCGEAR2012
	Wallpaper: Pokémon Café Dates Available for Japan: May 25th, 2011 until August 31th, 2012 As part of the Pokémon Center's 'Pokémon Café' campaign, the Pokémon Café skin was posted on the Global Link website. Players were required to enter the password 「ポケモンカフェ」 to download the skin which was revealed on a flyer at the Pokémon Center's.
	Wallpaper: Pokémon Movie Zekrom Dates Available for Japan: July 13th, 2011 until October 4th, 2011 Dates Available for North America and Europe: March 7th, 2012 until May 29th, 2012 As part of the promoting of the 14th movies, a Victini mini-game was added to the Japanese Dream World that once players beat it would unlock a C-Gear skin for either Zekrom or Reshiram, depending on which Pokémon the player put in their house. The Spring Deerling C-Gear skin was the first of four Deerling C-Gear skins that players were able to download. The Summer Deerling C-Gear skin was the second of four Deerling C-Gear skins that players were able to download. The C-Gear automatically unlocked in Japan while North America and Europe required the password: PB52XQ2H.
	Wallpaper: Deerling Autumn Form Dates Available for Japan and Korea: November 2nd, 2011 until December 1st, 2011 Dates Available for North America and Europe: November 9th, 2011 until December 8th, 2011 Get the third C-Gear skin of the Deerling series at the Pokémon Global Link. International players had to enter a password in the Promotions page of the Pokémon Global Link site in order to get this C-Gear skin.
	Wallpaper: Giaru Dates Available for Japan: February 1st, 2012 until March 27th, 2012. Dates Available for Korea: April 5th, 2012 until May 31st, 2012. Dates Available for North America: September 6th, 2012 until October 4th, 2012. The official Japanese Global Link site announced the Giaru C-Gear distribution and it was automatically unlocked for those that had the Japanese version of the games. The Korean version was open to all players as well without a password. The password to unlock the skin for the North American games was: KLINKCGEAR2012.
	Wallpaper: Koaruhie Dates Available for Japan: March 1st, 2012 until April 27th, 2012. The official Japanese Global Link site announced the Koaruhie C-Gear distribution and it was automatically unlocked for those that had the Japanese version of the games.

	Wallpaper: Meloetta Aria Forme Dates Available for Japan: July 14th, 2012 until September 25th, 2012. A Meloetta C-Gear entitled Night Sky Singing (よぞらのうたごえ) was released on the Japanese Pokémon Global Link on July 14th, 2012 to coincide with the release of the 15th Movie short. A Meloetta C-Gear skin was also available for Pocket Monsters Black 2 and White 2. No password is required to unlock this C-Gear skin in Japan.
	Wallpaper: Eievui Dates Available for Japan: November 9th, 2012 until December 31st, 2012. Dates Available for Korea: April 4th, 2013 until May 28th, 2013 An Eievui C-Gear entitled Sleeping Eievui (おねむりイーブイ) was released on the Japanese Pokémon Global Link to promote the Eevee Cup Wi-Fi tournament for players of the Japanese versions of Pokémon Black 2 and White 2. The skin was also available to Korean players to promote the Pokémon Town 2013 event.
	Wallpaper: Pokémon World Championships 2012 Dates Available for North America and Europe: August 9th, 2012 until September 6th, 2012 To commemorate the 2012 Pokémon World Championships, a special C-Gear skin featuring Pikachu was made available. The password WCSCGEAR2012 was revealed by the Pokémon World Championships 2012 official site. This C-Gear skin resembles the one that was distributed to Japanese players of Pokémon Black 2 and White 2 as a commemorative gift for the Beginning Cup WiFi tournament.
	Wallpaper: Movie 16 - Red Genesect Dates Available for Japan: April 20th, 2013 until July 12th, 2013 Dates Available for Korea: June 27th, 2013 at 15:00 until September 3rd, 2013 at 16:00 To help promote the 16th Pocket Monsters movie Extremespeed Genesect: The Awakening of Mewtwo (神速のゲノセクト ミュウツー覚醒), players that that had registered a copy of Black or White could download the Red Genesect skin.
