Pokémon Musical (ポケモンミュージカル)

One of the main new additions to Pokémon Black and White is the Pokémon Musical (ポケモンミュージカル). Pokémon Musicals are similar to the appeals round in the Super Contests from the Forth Generation Pokémon games. Players can dress up their Pokémon with various Props and then watch as theirr dressed up Pokémon dance on stage to the music. Players can also link up with up to four other players to play the Pokémon Musical together.

The Pokémon Musical Hall is found in Nimbasa City and a large 'Musical' sign is on top of the building. When players first visit the Pokémon Musical, they will receive a Prop Case which allows players to store all the Props they'll receive.

Musicals

There are several different Pokémon Musical shows that players can choose from. Players can also download new musicals off of Pokémon Global Link. To select a musical, players just have to talk to the receptionist to choose a show. After selecting a musical, players can dress up their Pokémon with a variety of Props which will be showcased in the musical on stage.

Each musical has a different 'Musical Style' where players must choose items to dress their Pokémon that fit into 1 of 4 different categories: Cute (キュート), Elegant (エレガント), Unique (ユニーク), or Cool (クール).

Musical (ポケスマ！ミュージカル)	BW	Random Cool (When the man is outside) Unique (When the child is outside)	On Pokémon Smash Episode 36 (ポケモンスマッシュ！ #36), Akiyama consulted Game Freak Director Junichi Masuda about the Pokémon Musical and as a present a Pokémon Smash Musical was created. It even has its on original tune which has people shouting 'Pokémon Smash' during it. Pokémon Smash members Mijumaru, Zoroark as well as a Victini are all featured in the musical. The cast decided to dress up Mijumaru, Zoroark and Victini just like people can do in game for the musical. The musical was available on Japanese Global Link from Monday June 13th, 2011 at 1pm until August 30th, 2011. The password to unlock the musical was: 「ポケスマ！ミュージカル」
	Carnival Pokémon (Pokémon Center de Style♪ ポケモンセンターDEおしゃれ♪)	BW and B2W2	Cute	Available on Japanese Global Link from July 8th, 2011 @ 13:00 until December 27th, 2011 @ 13:00. Various items and plush PokéDolls were also be available for purchase at the physical Pokémon Center locations in Japan. No password was required for the Japanese version. In North America, this musical lacked the lyrics from the Japanese original. It ran from October 20st, 2011 @ 13:00 until March 1st, 2012. The password for the North American Musical was: NPMUSICAL and was distributed in the November 2011 issue of Nintendo Power. The password for the European Musical was: EUPGLMUSICAL11 and was distributed on the official Pokémon website. The European musical was available from December 6th, 2011 until February 29th, 2012. Players names that are listed in the Pokémon Center Cup (ポケモンセンターカップ オンライン) tournaments rankings were alsoable to get it starting on November 21st, 2012.
	MELOETTAAA!!!	B2W2	Random Elegant (When the lady is outside) Cute (When the child is outside)	To celebrate the release of the 15th Pocket Monsters movie and short, this musical was distributed to all Japanese players of the Global Link starting on July 14th, 2012. Dates Available for North America: March 7th, 2013 until April 25th, 2013 Meloetta was distributed in North America and Europe during March and this Musical was released to coincide with its distribution.
	CarnivaRunpappa! (カーニバルンパッパ！)	B2W2		The official Japanese Pokémon website announced that this musical would be distributed to all Japanese players from November 21st, 2012 until January 10th, 2013 at 23:59. The musical has an unique arrangement of music from the Pocket Monsters Ruby and Sapphire games to celebrate its 10th anniversary. Distributed in Korea: 2013-03-28 at 15:00 until 2013-05-07 at 15:00 as part of the Pokémon Town 2013 (포켓몬타운 2013) festivities
