The special rerun episodes were called the Pokémon TV Show! The Rocket Gang Secret Empire: Pocket Monsters (ポケモン TV Show!　ロケット団ひみつ帝国・ポケットモンスター) and aired on December 19th, 20th, and 21st.

Rougela's Christmas (ルージュラのクリスマス) - Musashi Episode

Unlike the 15th anniversary of the Pokémon Anime episode of Pokémon Smash where a real remastered episode aired, Smash 116 contained the first airing of the recolored version of Rougela's Christmas. Oddly the color change didn't occur till the Smash 116 airing on 2012-12-23 despite the fact the episode also aired 4 days earlier on 2012-12-19 as a special Pokémon TV Show! The Rocket Gang Secret Empire: Pocket Monsters episode. Both the Pokémon TV Show! The Rocket Gang Secret Empire: Pocket Monsters on Kids Station HD and Smash 116 on TV Tokyo 7 were both not remastered versions of the episode.
