Baokkie placed 720th in the recent Pokémon Elections 720 results. In an attempt to increase its popularity and its disappointing election results, Baokkie will be distributed to players of X, Y, Omega Ruby or Alpha Sapphire at all the Pokémon Centers and Pokémon Stores in Japan from Saturday June 25th, 2016 until Fridau July 15th, 2016 via infrared communication from the shops staff. A Baokkie PR Business Card will also be given away as a present at the Pokémon Centers locations.

Ha, this is a pretty fun idea. I wonder if it will be given any unique moves to make it more appealing as an event pokemon.
While Simisear is my least favourite of the elemental monkeys, there are certainly other pokemon I like less. It will be interesting to see if this really does increase its popularity.
