To promote the 19th Pocket Monsters movie Volcanion and the Ingenious Magearna, between Friday June 17th, 2016 and Friday July 8th, 2016, the Prepare for a Fierce Fight! Black Mega Sirknight Campaign (熱戦にそなえろ！ 黒いメガサーナイトキャンペーン) will take place at participating store locations across Japan.

As part of the campaign, an alternate-colored Sirknight will be distributed via a serial code distribution at: Apita-Piago, Aeon, Aeon Super Center retail stores, Ito-Yokado, EDION, Joshin Denki, Toys R Us, Bic Camera, Fuji, Heiwado, Yamada Denki, Yodobashi Camera, Pokémon Centers and Pokémon Stores. The code can be redeemed from Friday June 17th, 2016 until Wednesday August 31st, 2016.
