The official Japanese Pokémon website has announced that on March 16th, 2016, the Pokémon Center Kyoto (ポケモンセンターキョウト) will open. It will be the 9th Pokémon Center to open in Japan. The mascots for the location will be Pikachu and Ho-oh. The Pokémon Center Kyoto will stock all the normal goods and merchandise that other the Pokémon Center and Pokémon Stores carry. Further details about opening festivities will be announced closer to the opening date.
