Nintendo Europe has revealed that the first 300 Club Nintendo users to register a copy of the French versions of Pokémon Version Noire 2 or Pokémon Version Blanche 2 will receive a copy of the official strategy guide for the games (Guide de stratégie officiel Pokémon de la région d'Unys : Volume 1 - Pokémon version noire 2 / Pokémon version blanche 2). This is a great reference guide that is very beneficial to players as they play through the game. The guide goes on sale in France on October 12th, 2012 and Amazon.fr is currently selling it for 18,99Eur.

That's a rather cool promotion, though I hope they won't wait weeks before they send it, as it'd make the guide itself useless (who would wait to get it before playing the game?).

Anyway, hope Nintendo will block registration before the 12th, as so many stores just don't respect release dates anymore... Happened with a similar promotion for the 3DS, which ran out before the actual release day (very clever :p).
