Magna Pacific has announced a bunch of new DVD's for Australia including Pokémon Arceus & The Jewel Of Life which aired earlier in the year. The North American DVD was announced earlier this year for a Spring of 2010 release but a date has yet to be finalized. The French and Japanese DVD's were released in December 2009. The Arceus & The Jewel Of Life DVD will be released in Australia on June 2nd, 2010.

Magna Pacific also announced box sets for Pokémon Season 3: Johto Journeys and Pokémon Season 4: Johto Leauge Champions which will also be released on June 2nd. Pokémon All-Stars DVD's featuring Togepi, Pikachu and Wobbuffet were also announced.

France and Japan got these DVD's out LAST year. Seriously, its nice that Australia is getting the DVD now but it should have been released months ago in North America and there isn't even a solid release date yet. Heaven forbid we ask where the Bluray HD release of this movie is...

Any Australians interested in getting the Arceus movie might want to check out Toys R Us - apparently you can pre-order it there and get a free A3 poster. The price is only $16.99, too, which is pretty good for a new release DVD (though admittedly Pokemon movies do tend to go for pretty cheap anywhere).

I didn't realise the movie hadn't even had a North American release announced yet - that's pretty slow! I guess Australia's been pretty fortunate with the last few movies, after we didn't even get movies 6 and 7 at all. =|

Johto Journeys and Johto League Champions will be on DVD in Austraila? Viz better release S3 and S4 in boxsets in the USA.
