ThumbnailThe official Pocket Monsters Movie 13 website has announced that Sukima Switch will sing the ending theme for the upcoming movie, The Ruler of Illusions Zoroark (幻影の覇者 ゾロアーク). The theme is titled, Ice Cream Syndrome (アイスクリーム シンドローム) and director requested that the song be a "medium tempo love song". Clips from song will debut throughout Japanese theaters starting April 17th, 2010. Sukima Switch (スキマスイッチ) is a jazz rock band consisting of two guys, Takuya Ōhashi (大橋卓弥) and Shintarō Tokita (常田真太郎). They are well known to anime fans for singing the third opening to Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood titled Golden Time Lover. Sources: http://www.oricon.co.jp/news/music/75134/full/,

I don't watch FMA, so instead they're well-known to me for singing "Zenryoku Shounen", the first level of "Moero! Nekketsu Rhythm Damashii" (the second Japanese "Elite Beat Agents" game). =P

I hope it's a good song! You can't go wrong with a song about ice cream, right?

Obviously after having Sarah Brightman for Movie 10's theme song, any singer/group after her is going to be underwhelming. The FMA Brotherhood song is decent so there is hope for this song to be better than last years song by Shoko Nakagawa. I wish they didn't use the Movie version of her song and had used the album version of the song which was a lot better. In any case, it won't take too much to have a better theme song than last years movie.

Hahan! I'm expecting this song to be better than last year's. I'm not really interested in Sukima Switch... but I have a feeling that it'll be better, since Ice Cream is beast! :D
