The General Producer of Pokémon Masters Tetsuya Iguchi, posted an open letter about the game on the Pokémon Master's official website.

A Message from the Pokémon Masters EX Team (Vol. 75)

Greetings, Trainers.
I’m Tetsuya Iguchi, general producer of Pokémon Masters EX, here with a new message for you. Today, we’ll focus on details about events beginning around the end of April and the new Sync Pairs that will debut.

Story Event Zippity Zappity Collab Is Coming

Story Event Zippity Zappity Collab will begin on April 24, 2025! Iono decides to do a collab with Elesa to get her subscriber numbers up. As the two of them try to grab as many eyeballs as possible, Thundurus and Raging Bolt appear?! Sygna Suit Iono & Raging Bolt make their debut in this event and can turn the field of play’s terrain into EX Terrain.

EX Terrains have more powerful effects than the regular terrains that have been available up to now and cannot be overwritten by regular terrains, just like with EX weather and EX Zones. (For example, EX Electric Terrain cannot be changed to Electric Terrain.)

However, if an EX Terrain is active and you activate a regular terrain of the same kind, you’ll extend the EX Terrain’s duration, just like with EX weather and EX Zones (except in certain circumstances).

Moving forward, you’ll still be able to utilize regular terrain in battles as well! Please note that Sync Pairs that can create EX Terrains are also planned to arrive in the future.

Sygna Suit Iono & Raging Bolt

Sygna Suit Iono & Raging Bolt are an Electric-type Field Sync Pair. Their EX Role is Sprint! Their Fully Charged Thunderclap Buddy Move can be activated when their Sp. Atk is raised. It makes the target flinch and increases all allies’ Sync Move ↑ Next effect by two ranks. Plus, it turns the field of play’s terrain into EX Electric Terrain the first time it’s successful each battle!

Fully Charged Thunderclap has the Quick Move effect tag and three MP, but thanks to one of Sygna Suit Iono & Raging Bolt’s Passive Skills, one MP will be restored when they use their Booster Energy move or when an ally turns the weather sunny, so try to make good use of it.

Please note that Booster Energy has two MP, which means Sygna Suit Iono & Raging Bolt can use their Buddy Move five times just by themselves.

Also, another Passive Skill of theirs raises one of the following stats of all allies by two stat ranks at random when an ally activates a weather, terrain, or zone effect: Attack, Defense, Sp. Atk, Sp. Def, or Speed.

Sygna Suit Elesa (Alt.) & Thundurus

Sygna Suit Elesa (Alt.) & Thundurus are an Electric-type Field Sync Pair. Their EX Role is Strike! Their Thunder-Calling Wildbolt Storm Buddy Move can be activated when their Sp. Atk is raised. It attacks all opponents, leaves the target paralyzed, and lowers the target’s Sp. Def by two stat ranks. Plus, it lowers the target’s Electric Type Rebuff by one rank the first time it’s successful each battle.

In addition, if their Electric Terrain move has one or more MP remaining when they attack with Thunder-Calling Wildbolt Storm, those MP will be reduced by one, they’ll make the weather rainy, and they’ll turn the field of play’s terrain into Electric Terrain. Also, their Passive Skills will extend the duration of rainy weather and Electric Terrain when those effects are activated and increase the Special Moves ↑ Next effect of all allies by one rank when an ally activates a weather, terrain, or zone effect.

On top of that, another Passive Skill of theirs makes their Max Move attack all opponents and increases its power when the weather is rainy, making this Sync Pair a force to be reckoned with.

Special Event Rolling in Gold Is Coming

Special Event Rolling in Gold will begin on April 28, 2025. In this event, you’ll unlock stories by playing Ranked Damage Event Aim for the Top Super Sparring, which will be available at the same time, and you can also team up with Teddy (Hiker) & Rellor.

You can exchange the Nuggets you get from the Ranked Damage Event for items to upgrade Teddy (Hiker) & Rellor, as well as other rewards, such as a Strike Move Candy Coin and Strike Roll Cake Coin, so try to aim for a high score.

Plus, unlike regular Ranked Damage Events, where attacks other than supereffective attacks inflict zero damage, this will be a special Ranked Damage Event where all types can inflict damage, so we hope you try it out!

The Happy Month Log-In Bonus Is Coming

The Happy Month Log-In Bonus will start on April 30, 2025! This Log-in Bonus runs until May 31, 2025. By logging in for twenty days during the Log-in Bonus, you can get a scout ticket as a featured reward, which lets you team up with one Fair-Exclusive Sync Pair guaranteed!

For the first 19 days, you can get rewards such as a Strike Move Candy Coin and Gems, so we hope you log in and collect them.

Other Events and Updates

A Pasio Special Stadium where you’ll battle against a Champion and an Elite Four who are weak to Electric-type attacks is scheduled for April 26, 2025. In addition, the Mix Scout that currently features Lucas & Torterra will feature a different Sync Pair starting April 30, 2025. The next featured Sync Pair will be the newly debuting Dawn & Empoleon, so we hope you’ll check them out.

App Update for Late April - A New Guest Arrives in the Trainer Lodge

Starting April 30, 2025, you’ll be able to invite Larry to the Trainer Lodge as a Guest! To invite Larry, you’ll need to team up with Larry & Dudunsparce first. You can team up with Larry & Dudunsparce via the Monthly Poké Fair Scout that begins on April 30, 2025. We hope you’ll try teaming up with them and enjoy interacting with Larry.

A New Gym Sync Pair Scout Is Coming

The Gym Sync Pair Scout B will begin on April 30, 2025! You can team up with these new Sync Pairs: Whitney & Wigglytuff, Korrina & Hawlucha, and Kabu & Ninetales! You can obtain the Gym Scout Tickets B needed to use this Scout from the Gym Exchange starting April 30, 2025, so be sure to grab them!

Also, we have adjusted the Training Area’s Evolution Material Area to remove the limit on how many times you can attempt it. Please note that from now on, you can attempt it as many times as you want each day by using stamina. We have also made adjustments to how the Training Area is arranged.

What to Expect in the Next Message

Our next message is scheduled for late May. In it, we plan to share information about new Sync Pairs and events for June. We’re always working hard to deliver updates and improvements that make the world of Pokémon Masters EX as fun as possible. Until next time, thank you for playing Pokémon Masters EX.
