• We may shut down the line for wristbands at any time, for any reason.
• We may cancel an Autograph Session, end it early, or make adjustments to the timing, for any reason. If this is necessary, we apologize for any inconvenience or disappointment caused.
• If a wristband is removed from your wrist, it is voided.
• Wristbands cannot be transferred.
• One wristband per person. You may only attend one Autograph Session. Once you have been successful in obtaining a wristband, you may not attempt to enter the drawing for another session.

Genki Ball Making

Pokémon is collaborating with Genki Ala Wai Project to bring Genki Ball to the 2024 Pokémon World Championships! Make your own Genki Ball (mud ball) while learning about EM® bioremediation technology and how these mud balls can clean water. On Saturday evening, we'll throw all the Genki Balls together into the Ala Wai Canal! A limited number of slots are available for this activity on a first come, first served basis.

Come and join us for a rare opportunity to learn more about the illustrators that make it happen. We will welcome Pokémon TCG artists Atsushi Furusawa and AKIRA EGAWA to talk about their artistic journeys, inspiration, favorite works, art styles, and more.


Pokémon: Bringing Animation to Global Audiences
The Pokémon Company International (TPCi) takes a behind-the-scenes look at how the Pokémon animated series is localized from its original Japanese version to the popular series enjoyed by international audiences, in addition to the creation of an original animated series by TPCi. In a panel moderated by Phil Rynda (director of original animation), Andy Gose (senior director of media production), Tad Kubota (director of media business operations), Toshi Yoshida (animation localization manager), Hilary Thomas (senior producer), and Chris Hewitt (associate producer) will discuss optimizing the series for global viewers and share behind-the-scenes insights on the current mainline series, Pokémon Horizons: The Series, and the animated limited series, Pokémon: Path to the Peak, both available now to fans around the world.

Casters and analysts play a pivotal role in enhancing the spectator experience of the Pokémon Championship Series and deepen the sense of community for global audiences. Want to know what it takes to commentate competitive Pokémon? Host extraordinaire Anna Prosser moderates this panel of four professional Pokémon casters as they share insights about how they got started, the art of casting, providing real-time battle analysis, developing compelling narratives, and the evolution of the profession.


Victory Road: Becoming a World Champion
Winning the World Championships is as close as any Trainer can get to becoming a true Pokémon Master: it represents the ultimate culmination of skill, strategy, and determination. A panel of past champions, hosted by Dave Schwimmer (senior manager of Play! Pokémon program development), delves into their inspiring journeys to the top of the global competitive scene, what it has meant to them personally, and how they have been supporting the Pokémon community since their rise to glory.


Pokémon Trainer Tour: A Conversation with Hosts and Creators
Take a behind-the-scenes look at Trainer Tour, an original series centered on the Pokémon TCG created by The Pokémon Company International, in an exciting conversation with the series’ hosts and creators. The panel will discuss the process of creating the heartfelt series and explore how aspiring Trainers foster connections with family and friends through their love of the Pokémon TCG.

Pokémon Trading Card Game Illustration Contest 2024

The Pokémon Trading Card Game Illustration Contest first began in 2021 by accepting submissions from talented artists in both Japan and the United States. This contest not only showcased beautiful illustrations coming to life, but also brought new talents to light. The 2024 Pokémon Trading Card Game Illustration Contest features “Magical Pokémon Moments” as its theme, accepting submissions from Japan and the United States, as well as Australia, Canada, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom for the first time. Please enjoy artwork from the top 100 entries from the 2024 contest, the winners’ artwork from the 2022 contest, and the “Draw Your Own Card” activity!

The Pokémon World Championships host a full schedule of side events open to all attendees who have an official event badge, regardless of whether the attendee is playing in the main event. Come battle in smaller competitions for a variety of awesome prizes throughout the weekend. It’s a great opportunity to meet and compete against players from around the world!

Jump into Pokémon TCG battles with your Standard or Gym Leader Challenge decks! If you don’t have your own deck, you can enjoy Build & Battle side events instead.


Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet
Trainers who bring their own Nintendo Switch system and Pokémon Scarlet or Pokémon Violet game can get in on the action by competing in side events throughout the weekend.


Pokémon GO
For those who prefer a smaller screen, Pokémon GO events will be held throughout the weekend. Whether you enjoy battling other players or simply catching Pokémon, we have a variety of ways for you to get involved.


Pokémon UNITE
Bring out your Nintendo Switch or mobile device and team up with other Pokémon UNITE fans for battles on Aeos Island.
