Variety has exclusively announced a new Pokémon Series called Trainer Tour which will begin airing on Prime Video and the Roku Channel on July 31st, 2024. The first episode will also be on the official Pokémon YouTube channel. The series was developed by The Pokémon Company International and produced with The Intellectual Property Corporation (IPC). Last year, TPCi released the series How Do You Play? that focused on three unique stories from the Pokémon TCG fandom. Pictures from the press release have been added to an Imageboard thread.
Pokémon Series ‘Trainer Tour’ Sets Release Date on Prime Video and Roku
Pokémon is hitting the road in a yellow Pikachu bus with “Trainer Tour,” a new series that interviews and showcases mega fans across the country.
The series will be available to stream worldwide on Prime Video and the Roku Channel on July 31. The first episode will also be on the official Pokémon YouTube channel.
Pokémon content creators Meghan Camarena, aka Strawburry17, and Andrew Mahone, aka Tricky Gym, host the show to “meet and mentor aspiring trainers looking to foster connections with family and friends through their love of the Pokémon Trading Card Game.” Across eight episodes, the hosts travel far and wide in an electrifying Pikachu-themed tour bus to meet the Pokémon fans.

While the Trainers recount their own unique life experiences in each episode, they all share a love for the Pokémon brand and Pokémon TCG.
