{nl}Pokemon: Indigo League Season 1, Volume 3 DVD Review{nl}by Jeffrey Harris, IGN{nl}Video is presented in fullscreen format. At over ten years old, the series is definitely starting to show its age. The picture quality is starting to look grainy and there are some slight artifacts in the animation as well.{nl} {nl}The Pokemon: Indigo League boxset comes in a paper case, with volumes 7, 8, and 9 of the series packaged in regular size plastic, clamshell DVD cases stored inside. Each case has an insert listing the number and episode titles included on the discs. There are no extras at all for this DVD set, but the packaging boasts, "Full-length Pikachu's Jukebox On Each DVD!" To the ignorant, the Pikachu's Jukebox was a music video segment at the end of each episode, prior to the credits with some lame, stupid song about Pokemon and their friendships with each other and their masters. {nl} {nl}If you loved the original series, well here are 27 episodes of season one right here. {nl} |
