Pokémon GO Fest 2022

• Pokémon GO Fest: Sapporo – From Friday, August 5, 2022, to Sunday, August 7, 2022, Pokémon GO Fest comes to Sapporo, Japan! Explore the city and Nakajima Park—tickets are on sale now!
• Pokémon GO Fest 2022: Finale – Stay tuned for more details on the global finale event taking place on August 27.

August Community Day

Join us for August Community Day on Saturday, August 13, 2022! Galarian Zigzagoon, the Tiny Raccoon Pokémon, will appear in the wild!

The following Pokémon will be appearing in raids throughout August.

Five-Star Raids

The Legendary Pokémon Palkia, Zacian, and Zamazenta and the Mythical Pokémon Genesect will return to five-star raids this August!

Pokémon Spotlight Hours

In the month of August, Pokémon Spotlight Hour will take place every Tuesday from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. local time, and each will spotlight a different Pokémon and a special bonus!


August 2nd, 2022: Hisuian Voltorb | 2× Stardust for catching Pokémon
August 9th, 2022: Nidoran♀ | 2× XP for catching Pokémon
August 16th, 2022: Joltik | 2× Candy for catching Pokémon
August 23nd, 2022: Nidoran♂ | 2× Candy for transferring Pokémon
August 30th, 2022: Pidove | 2× XP for evolving Pokémon

Language selection will be rolling out this month!

Soon, Trainers will be able to change their language settings in Pokémon GO! Trainers will be able to play Pokémon GO in their language of choice, regardless of the language used on their device. The following languages will be available when this setting launches.

• English
• French
• German
• Italian
• Japanese
• Korean
• Portuguese (Brazilian)
• Russian
• Spanish
• Thai
• Turkish
• Traditional Chinese

Trainers will need to close and reopen Pokémon GO for any language changes to take effect.
