Pokémon Sunday Lucario often goes with Robert on their daily tasks and adventures. Director Lucario (ルカリオ部長) is its official title. Lucario would ask or answer questions to people it was interviewing by holding up a flip board with the question or statement written on it. Lucario often acted as a cheerleader and was often seen doing a little dance that would have it wave its hands in the air. During the first episode of Pokémon Smash, Shoko-tan revealed that Lucario would no longer be on the show. Lucario, an obvious fan of the Barry Manilow song Copacabana, retired to Copacabana, a borough in the southern area of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Shoko-tan showed a picture of Lucario on the beach in Copacabana waving.
